What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repairs Project Manager position at The Building People?
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Repairs Project Manager to oversee the facility operations and maintenance at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC), Edwards, CA.
- Five (5) years' experience as a Project Manager (PM) managing and coordinating maintenance repairs and support services contracts.
- Estimate time and cost to develop projects associated with the Facilities Branch.
- Review work requests and drawings for details and manufacturability and recommend changes in scope, design or details, specifications, or processes.
- Liaison and technical interface between facilities, customers and or sub-contractors.
- Evaluate on-site capability to perform requested work.
- Coordinate and expedite work between Armstrong work centers and off-site vendors.
- Must have the communication skills required to interface and coordinate with other department personnel.
- Must work from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals.
- Must be physically capable of working in confined spaces.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
