Job Title: Dishwasher
Reports to: Executive Chef
Department: Kitchen
Location: The Bungalow (222 81st St, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247)
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Clean garbage cans.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep and scrub floors.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
- Maintain trash room area, keep it in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform routine cleaning of kitchen space including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, moving dirty pots and pans and stocking clean equipment.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to constantly go up and down stairs throughout the day
- Bending and lifting required
