Job Title: Busser/Server Assistant
Department: A la Carte
Reports to: Bungalow General Manager
Job description: Busser responsibilities include delivering food to correct tables in the dining room and to their correct position. Performs all duties of a busser, expediter and runner. Be quick on feet, able to multitask, and have a polite and friendly attitude. The goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us attract regular members and maintain the highest standard.
The Bungalow is a seasonal restaurant open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Responsibilities:
Opening
o Obtain service area assignment from the Manager at the beginning of each shift. Understand the floor plan, position numbers and reservation flow.
o Prep expediter station.
o Restock the pantry and refrigerator as needed.
o Attention to detail – ensure tables are set properly. Wipe down placemats and chairs.
o Act as the liaison between servers and chefs (keep them posted on timing, shortage of food items, etc.)
Service
o When delivering food, know positions. Check accuracy of the food items prior to taking plates into the dining room.
o Anticipate each order and remain focused.
o At the end of the service, help reset and clean the dining room.
o Check with the manager before the end of your shift for additional duties.
o Keep work environment clean at all time.
Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and stand for long durations of time
· Bending and lifting required

· Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and mandatory holidays which include Memorial Day Weekend and Fourth of July Weekend
Compensation: Will receive hourly rate of $5.50/hour, in addition to a percentage of the total of the gratuity each night.
