Job Title: Resident Care Associate | CNA
The Resident Care Associate is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to a consistent group of residents in our assisted living and Memory care neighborhoods. This role includes hands-on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident's Personalized Service Plan (PSP), while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update Personalized Service Plans in collaboration with families
- Maintain hydration schedules for residents during shifts
- Complete meal attendance sheets and provide room service or account for absent residents
- Ensure compliance with resident rights
- Initiate and assist with activities as appropriate
- Conduct daily checks on assigned residents for cleanliness and well-being
- Use proper sanitation procedures and universal precautions
- Monitor resident rooms for cleanliness and take action as needed
- Assist with laundry and common area cleaning
- Perform ADLs according to resident PSPs
- Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells
Requirements:
- High school education preferred; may be required by state
- Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care aspects
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
