Role Description
A fast paced, growing tax accounting firm looking for a bookkeeper to work with clients, using the QuickBooks and Xero accounting software's. This is a full-time on-site role for a Bookkeeper/Payroll located in Maryville, TN. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, performing bookkeeping tasks, managing accounting software, and making journal entries on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- NEEDS to have attention to detail, and this is a MUST!
- Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills.
- Experience with Accounting Software.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage records.
- Diverse data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in written, verbal, and communicative correspondence.
- Ability to make accurate Journal Entries..
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3 years experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recoding day to day financial transactions
- Reconciling Bank Accounts for multiple Clients
- Balancing Books
- Completing various sales and payroll tax forms (tax experience not a must, but a plus.)
- Entering data, maintaining accurate records, and financial statements.
