TBC Shift Managers and Supervisors are responsible for overseeing operations of EVS and Steward departments. Our leaders continuously monitor the quality of work performed by kitchen stewards, dishwashers, cleaners, and EVS attendants. These individuals work closely with the clients and various TBC management team members to ensure service excellence is maintained. This includes quality inspection audits and the continuous training of stewarding and EVS personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Constantly responsible for monitoring team members ensuring assignments are properly carried out.
- Conduct on-going training of departmental equipment and supplies.
- Constantly responsible for walk-throughs, quality audits and inspections of all kitchen and service areas.
- Assists in maintaining all equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Constantly communicates with all employees, completes paperwork consisting of records and miscellaneous matters.
- Communicates to employees' policies, procedures, standards and expectations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3-years prior supervisory experience consisting of business management, record keeping, purchasing basics, knowledge of kitchens and dish machines, inventory control, fire safety and chemical awareness programs.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:
- Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal schedule and or business hours.
