We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic before and after school teacher for our school-age program, serving students in grades K-6. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience working with this specific age group and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere where students can feel secure while waiting for the school bus.
Ensure compliance with all State of Connecticut regulations, including maintaining an adequate student-teacher ratio.
Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
Plan and implement creative and stimulating activities for every snow day throughout the school year to keep students engaged and entertained.
Report directly to the School Administrator and Head of School, providing updates and insights on student progress and program activities.
