What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment and Retention Specialist position at The Burton Center For Disabilities & Special Needs?
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. The Recruitment and Retention Specialist acts as an ambassador to Burton Center employees and prospective employees, providing information and support at all stages of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, development, and transition. The Recruitment and Retention Specialist works with managers and supervisors to develop strategies to recruit and retain a strong workforce, and promotes the Burton Center as a valuable employer in our communities. Bachelor's degree in education, business, or human services related field is preferred OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Preferred minimum of (3) years' experience in either recruiting, employee development, or other related human resources duties. Proficiency in Microsoft office; Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with human resources information systems is preferred. HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
