Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant/Office Manager to oversee the daily accounting and operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks, human resources management and some administrative task. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties
- Accounts Receivable: preparing invoices, apply payments, payment verification, record-keeping, aging account maintenance, and reporting and communication with customers on receivable related issues.
- Payroll Processing: Support Payroll processing activities including maintenance of payroll records, compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
- Client Interaction: Manage client conversations, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new employees and consultants and adding their appropriate documentation into the payroll system.
- Assist the CFO and Senior Accountant with monthly financial statements as needed and utilize financial software to input and track financial data.
- Accounts Payable: Handle accounts payable tasks including processing invoices and payments
Skills
- A great understanding of GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
- Technical proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work within a team setting
- QuickBooks online experience preferred
- Dynamic, Adaptable, detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Can work independently and with a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
