Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students. As in Infant teacher you will need to create a nurturing environment and care for up to 4 babies alone or with another teacher if there are more then 4 babies. Each baby has their own individualized schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children’s actions.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during class.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; experience in babysitting or nannying is also valuable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's learning experiences.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children who have special educational needs is a plus.
