Job Title: Wash Up Flexo Printing
Reports To: Printing Supervisor
Position Description:
Performs manual and machine operator tasks related to cleaning Flexo printing parts, plates and Operations of the Wastewater Treatment System and other related duties directed by the Web Department Manager and Supervisors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and cleaning Flexo Printing parts and plates.
- Maintaining, cleaning and draining hot and cold wash tanks.
- Retrieve dirty printing plates from the Flexo presses.
- Operating a Forklift and Walkie Hand Truck.
- Operating a Power Washer.
- Fill wash tanks with chemical soap and water mix.
- Remove and replace Totes of Soap, Waste Ink and Acid.
- Operate and maintain the Wastewater Treatment System.
- Ensure that ALL ISO 9001:2000 Procedures, Work Instructions, 6-S checklists, and QPOC’s are followed.
- Ensure consistent machine operation by following the preventive maintenance checklist as required.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and responsibility for accomplishing new and different request.
Education / Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.

All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines and safety policies.
PPE: MUST wear ear plug hearing protection and safety glasses in designated areas.
