Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Commercial AV Technician to join our growing team. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex audiovisual systems in commercial spaces. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art AV technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain a variety of commercial AV systems, including video conferencing solutions, audio systems, projectors, video walls, and digital signage.
- Perform wiring, setup, and troubleshooting for AV equipment, ensuring all systems function properly and meet client specifications.
- Work with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment on-site or remotely as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Ensure all work is performed to industry standards, company policies, and local building codes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest AV technologies, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial AV technician (2 years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with AV equipment, including displays, sound systems, projectors, video walls, and networked AV solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Install devices such as speakers, TV’s, Video Conference equipment.
- Oversee small projects and work independently
- Read floor plans and installation diagrams

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
