Job description

The Cafe At Hoover Dam in Boulder City, NV is on the lookout for an experienced, cheerful and energetic Cafe Cashier to join our talented team and help to deliver wonderfully prepared meals to our customers. In this position, your principal goal will be to exude kindness, great communication skills between the customer and our cooks, as well, a high-level of customer service to Hoover Dam patrons.

Individuals who are committed to exceptional customer service and are detail oriented, who possess a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers creating a memorable experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to...)

Cashier Associates are expected to provide customers with a level of service beyond the customer's expectation, while showing sensitivity to each of their individual needs.

Great Teamwork, following directions and working together with the store management team is what we do to deliver outstanding customer service; to create an uplifting work atmosphere, for both your fellow employees and our customers.

Job specific duties include but are not limited to : menu knowledge, front cashier, Candy Bar cashier, POS, restocking, closing duties, light cleaning, making hot beverages, communication with the cooks, and basic math skills (accurate drawer count at end of day).

Qualifications

The Cafe is located on the Iconic Hoover Dam- Willing to travel to Boulder City at Hoover Dam!

High School diploma or higher;

Fast food or retail experience is preferred;

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask;

Basic math skills (accurate drawer count at end of day);

Acceptable verbal English communication skills;

Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts;

Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified;

Available to work at least 20 hours a week; weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.

MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to

50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers. Pay : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
