Job Title: Barback at The Cage Cocktail Bar

Location: Huntingdon Valley
Position: Part-Time/Full-Time

About Us:

The Cage Cocktail Bar is a dynamic and high-energy venue where expertly crafted cocktails and vibrant nightlife come together. Our mission is to create an unforgettable experience for every guest, and we’re looking for a dedicated Barback to support our bartenders and help ensure smooth service behind the bar.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, including liquor, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces and ensuring the bar is always fully stocked.
• Help prepare ingredients for cocktails, such as cutting fruit and prepping garnishes as well as preparing cocktail batches according to recipes.
• Remove empty bottles, glassware, and trash from the bar area to keep the space tidy and efficient.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bar equipment.
• Stock ice, syrups, and other bar tools throughout the shift to ensure bartenders can work quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure bar guests are well taken care of by assisting with drink orders and making sure bartenders have everything they need.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing bar areas, restocking supplies, and prepping for the next shift.
• Support bartenders during peak hours by providing exceptional service to guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a barback or similar support role is preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and organized.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
