Job Title: Host at The Cage Cocktail Bar

Location: Huntingdon Valley
Position: Part-Time/Full-Time

The Cage Cocktail Bar is not just a bar – it’s an experience. Known for our expertly crafted cocktails, vibrant atmosphere, and exceptional service, we aim to create a memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and highly organized Host to join our team and help us create an unforgettable first impression for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, providing a positive first impression of The Cage.
• Manage reservations, seating charts, and ensure that guests are seated promptly and in the appropriate area.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and provide information about the venue and menu when needed.
• Communicate with servers, bartenders, and the management team to ensure smooth service.
• Manage the waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates to guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, ensuring all guests feel comfortable.
• Assist with special requests, guest concerns, or issues as needed, ensuring satisfaction.
• Help set up and break down the host station, ensuring it is always tidy and fully stocked.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every guest has a positive and memorable experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality (but not required).
• OpenTable experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing great service.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older.
