Job Duties
- Kits stock and/or sales order jobs from the work center priority list based on what is ready to be kitted and coming due.
- Routes kitted jobs to their designated staging areas.
- Routes kitted jobs to next operation based on the priority order the foremen assigns those jobs.
- Picks up all green tagged parts and takes them to the next staging area whether for OPPNT, painted in-house, outside operation, etc.
- Puts away stock or sales order parts that are not ready for kitting in the designated location. The location may be a temporary area in the Weld Warehouse.
- Manufacturing receipts stock parts into inventory.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Reports defective tools and equipment.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Caldwell values in all work activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year forklift experience
- Minimum one year overhead crane experience
- Proven ability to read a tape measure
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
