Our client is seeking a responsible, energetic, and adaptable Family Assistant to provide full-time support in their home in Rowayton, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who is comfortable taking on a variety of tasks while maintaining a positive and organized atmosphere in the home. This position involves both childcare and household management responsibilities, and the candidate will work alongside a deep cleaner who visits weekly.
Responsibilities:
Cooking: Prepare healthy, balanced meals for the family, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Driving: Transport children to various activities, ensuring punctuality and safety.
Childcare: Provide backup childcare as needed, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for the children.
Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties for a 5,000 square-foot home, including making beds daily, tidying up common areas, and assisting with household organization projects.
Laundry: Assist with laundry for the children, washing, folding, and organizing.
Kitchen Management: Keep the kitchen tidy and organized, manage grocery shopping, and ensure all food items are stocked and properly stored.
Household Organization: Assist with managing inventory and organizational projects throughout the home. Handle online orders and returns as needed.
Qualifications:
5 years of similar experience
Ability to multitask and manage various household responsibilities efficiently.
Energetic, flexible, and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the family’s needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
