Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain their 3,200 square-foot home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The ideal candidate will take pride in providing exceptional housekeeping services, light cooking, household organization, and managing laundry for the family of four (two adults, two children). This role also includes overseeing home maintenance and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The position is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities:
Housekeeping: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the entire home, ensuring each room is spotless and well-kept.
Laundry: Handle all laundry for the family, including washing, folding, ironing, and proper storage of clothing and linens.
Light Cooking: Prepare simple meals for the family as needed, adhering to any dietary preferences or instructions provided.
Home Organization: Ensure the home is organized and clutter-free, including maintaining storage areas, closets, and other living spaces.
Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule any necessary maintenance or repairs for the home, including overseeing vendors and ensuring the work is completed to satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar housekeeping or domestic role with one family
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Ability to manage laundry and clothing care with attention to fabric types and proper handling.
Basic cooking skills for preparing simple, healthy meals.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and discretion in a private household environment.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with the family and any vendors.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
