Hiring a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E. Certified) to provide expert technical guidance and oversight on a variety of electrical systems, including electric master system plans, power systems, facility power systems, and sustainability / renewable energy systems. This role involves managing an industrial engineering team to deliver a number industrial design project for chemical, power, utilities and manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Management : Manage and supervise an industrial engineering team, providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
- Technical Oversight : Independently oversee and provide expert guidance on complex electrical system designs to meet client project requirements.
- Compliance Review : Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and sign off on completed designs.
- Policy Adherence : Ensure all designs follow firm policies, quality and practices.
- Site Reviews : Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications, updating design requirements as necessary.
- Knowledge Contribution : Develop white papers and technical design documentation for new or special case designs and submit technical papers for publication in journals.
- Proposal Collaboration : Work with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Client Engagement : Meet with current and potential clients to review their design needs and provide technical guidance.
- Industry Visibility : Attend conferences and symposia to enhance the visibility of the firm's products and services.
- Primary Contact : Act as the main point of contact for external clients and industry contacts, collaborating with clients and government officials to clarify technical questions.
- Project Updates : Provide updates to project management as necessary.
- Mentorship : Mentor junior staff to develop their skills and prepare them for future growth within the firm.
