JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of an Associates Degree
- Ability to relate and work well with students and staff
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office software, email and Internet skills
- Ability to effectively and efficiently maneuver online programs, if applicable
- Excellent communication (oral, written and listening) and interpersonal relations skills
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience/training in behavior management as a teacher assistant
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with individual and small groups of cadets to reinforce materials introduced by the classroom teacher
- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work set up by the classroom teacher
- Input data and maintain physical and computerized files on cadet progress, achievement and use of instructional programs
- Ensure cadets stay on task, completing classes in a timely manner
- Reset quizzes and tests through Edmentum
- Troubleshoot minor technology problems within the computer lab, if applicable
- Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information both professionally and personally
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Perform other related duties as assigned by building leadership
