First Aid Office Manager
Payrate is based on education and experience. Full time, seasonal position.
Hours are 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. (some flexibility)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Current EMT certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
- Ability to receive instruction and supervision.
- Ability to utilize technology to document treatment and for camper medication tracking.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, campers and parents.
- Willingness to help in other areas of camp when the First Aid office is not busy.
- Age 18 or older
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a summer camp setting
- High energy, lots of creativity, ability to remain cool under pressure.
Under the direction of the Camp Director, the first aid office supervisor will:
- Manage first aid office operations including first aid treatment, medication distribution, caring for sick or injured campers or staff.
- Make sure paperwork is completed in a timely manner including health and medication logs.
- Maintain confidentiality, insuring that HIPPA policies and standards are met.
- Know and understand camp emergency procedures as well as participate in any emergency drills.
- Communicate with parents/guardians as needed on any camper concerns; Log all communication.
- Communicate needs of any staff/campers needing doctor/hospital/ambulance attention
- Follow all policies in The Campus Chester County Employee Handbook and Summer Camp Addendum
Salary : $15 - $18
