Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Clinic Supervisor plans, organizes, evaluates, and manages all operational functions of site. Will ensure financial accountability, productivity, efficiency, and quality care delivery. Requires collaboration with leadership and team members to provide positive patient and staff outcomes. Along with management, responsible for enhancing corporate relationships with hospital systems and referring offices.
Desired/Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field required.
Specific skills & abilities:
Minimum of (2) years healthcare/practice management experience preferred.
Experience in oncology setting preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day accountability for the delivery of quality services. Routinely apply and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Identify, analyze, and resolve work problems associated with personnel, workflow, site inconsistencies, technology, or equipment to provide quality patient care and cost containment.
2. Assist in organization and quality care improvement by identifying, researching, and proposing change that has a positive effect on outcomes and profitability.
3. Engage and collaborate with staff, other departments, key personnel, and outside customers. Collaborate and communicate across teams to expedite patient flow and treatment. Handle complaints and disputes.
4. Contribute to strategic planning of department. Partner with the reimbursement and finance team to manage and enhance revenue cycle strategies.
5. Assume accountability for employee interviewing, selection, retention, support and encouragement of staff. Manage employee staffing, balancing workloads and assignments to obtain the most effective performance from all personnel.
6. Partners with the nursing leadership and other department leaders to identify, analyze and resolve issues influencing care delivery.
7. All other duties as assigned.
