Doggy Daycare Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure that each dog receives the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with dogs in play areas to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide basic training and reinforce positive behavior among the dogs.
• Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including kennels and play areas.
• Monitor the health and behavior of all dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's activities and any issues that arise.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving supplies or assisting larger dogs.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with kennel operations or pet grooming is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
