Irrigation Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems on the Property of the Cannon Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, irrigation systems, and mechanical knowledge.
Duties:
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with irrigation systems promptly.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper watering schedules for plants and lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Assist in other landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, garden upkeep, and landscape enhancements.
Skills:
- Proficiency in digging, irrigating, and maintaining various types of irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components.
- Experience in building and maintaining landscapes is a plus.

Spray Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Spray Technician to apply pesticides to the golf course and grounds of the Cannon Club. The Candidate will be responsible for making accurate applications to greens, tees, fairways and rough areas using ride-on and hand sprayers.
Duties:
- Apply pesticides as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent.
- Handle pesticides in a safe responsible manner
- Follow all State and Federal guidelines when handling/applying pesticides
- Properly identify the areas in which will be sprayed
- Know how to properly measure/weigh various pesticides and fertilizers
Skills:
- Be able to drive a manual transmission sprayer
- Be able to strategically spray greens, tees, fairways and rough areas to navigate the topography of the golf course.
