Job Title: Canvasser/Fundraiser

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engage with members of the local community to educate them about the mission and initiatives of the nonprofit for which we work
• Clearly communicate the organization’s impact and the importance of supporting its work
• Encourage potential donors to commit to ongoing contributions to further the organization’s goals
• Always represent these nonprofits with integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism

Qualifications:

• A deep passion for environmental conservation, and a strong connection to environmental causes
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
• A positive, motivated attitude with the ability to inspire others to take action
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
• Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods
• Experience in canvassing, sales, or fundraising is a plus, but not mandatory
