Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including proper disposal of trash and recyclables.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all cleaned kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when reordering is needed.
- Assist kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar kitchen support role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
