Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that all drinks meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of retail math to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Experience in food service with an understanding of food safety practices.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate drink preparation and cash handling.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for crafting specialty beverages.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required.
