Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. This position involves managing guest relations, handling cash transactions, and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the Aloha POS system.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash drawer records.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services and build rapport with customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
