Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and waitlist efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, restaurant, and club policies.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Support guest services by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help both guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
