Role Overview
As a Customer Experience (CX) Team Member, you will be the primary point of contact and communication for our customers. You will interact with customers across various channels, including in-person, email, phone, web, and text. You will provide positive energy and solutions-based interactions while representing our brand and values.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer communications promptly, maintaining our high service standards
- Answer questions and present solutions tailored to individual customer needs and use cases
- Facilitate and encourage bicycle test rides as part of the cargo bike exploration and purchase process.
- Maintain and optimize the sales floor to create the best possible exploration experience
- Collaborate with our Workshop Team to ensure demo bikes provide optimal test ride experiences
What Success Looks Like
- Creating a welcoming environment for all customers regardless of background or experience level
- Communicating effectively and promptly across multiple channels
- Striving to understand customer needs, providing engaging and informational experiences, and identifying and presenting possible solutions.
- Supporting and collaborating with the Workshop Team to aid in the smooth operation of the Workshop.
- Managing business resources responsibly
- Embodying TCBS core values in all interactions
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for practical cycling and its applications
- Experience in customer-centric environments
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (75 pounds) and handle awkward bikes
Schedule
- Minimum 24 hours per week (typically 3×8-hour shifts or 4×6-hour shifts)
- Weekend availability required (at least one weekend day)
- Typical shift hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm
- Potential for remote work hours after completing training and demonstrating independent capability
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $18/hour minimum, with increases based on experience and responsibilities
