Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Data Consultant with expertise in SAP, Power BI, and Smartsheets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with transactional line item details in SAP and translating financial data into high-level metrics and actionable insights. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting data-driven decision-making for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Analyze transactional line item details in SAP to ensure data accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI to present financial data effectively.
Utilize Smartsheets to track and manage financial workflows and project-related data.
Translate complex financial data into high-level metrics and KPIs to support strategic decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data for analysis and reporting.
Identify trends and anomalies in financial data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to clients and internal teams.
Support process improvements and automation initiatives related to financial data management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a related role.
Strong expertise in SAP, including transactional line item details.
Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and visualizing financial data.
Experience using Smartsheets for workflow and data management.
Skills:
Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and metrics.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
