Staff Engineer

We are a proud, nationally certified woman-owned management consulting firm providing program/project management, capital project delivery, consulting, and technology solutions to our customers in the renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, and transit/transportation sectors. Our expertise spans large-scale infrastructure projects and programs, including overhead and underground transmission and distribution projects.
We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer to support overhead construction projects across southern New Jersey. The Staff Engineer will provide both engineering and construction support for overhead transmission and distribution projects. This role involves working directly in client field offices, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering requirements and construction execution. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site engineering and construction support for overhead transmission and distribution projects.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to both engineering and construction aspects of the project.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor construction progress, addressing any issues or changes that arise in the field.
Regularly report project status, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager and client stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project reports, tracking progress and key performance metrics.
Utilize Power BI or similar reporting tools to provide accurate and timely project updates to stakeholders.
Travel to various project sites as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel to project sites.
Ability to work independently and in the field under varying site conditions.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
