Job Summary
This newly created position will offer the opportunity to provide patient care with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression — TMS NeuroStar (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation). We are seeking an individual who will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to administer and manage the specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients and complete additional office administrative tasks when time provides. Here at The Caring Center of Wichita, we are committed to improving the mental health and wellness of those struggling with conditions that can compromise their quality of life. Health care experience is preferred but not required. The most important skill is communicating with patients and making them feel comfortable and safe. Strong attention to detail is required and the ability to follow a daily treatment checklist. This individual needs to be able to respond effectively in an emergency situation for patient care, possess strong listening and communication skills, be attentive to detail, and have the willingness to learn the use of a medical technology. They will be able to respond to patients appropriately, professionally and with compassion. Emotional maturity, ability to manage time and tasks well, as well as sound judgement and critical thinking capacity are required for this position.
The Healthcare Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities by providing administrative support and managing patient care processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of medical office management. The Healthcare Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Health Care Clinical Professional experience preferred but not required
- Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role
- 2-year degree in healthcare or social services related field
Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to some data management software experience
- Experience addressing any patient’s medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification and first responder knowledge
- ability to remain calm in any situation, ensuring patients feel heard, seen, respected and understood
- Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device
Job Requirements:

- Monitor a patient for medical symptoms or any adverse reactions
- Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation; Current CPR certification required. Must possess the ability to remain composed in an emergency or unexpected situation.

- Follow established treatment and office procedures
- Assist with marketing and responding to inquiries about TMS services
