- Perform procedures such as IV insertion and other necessary interventions.
- Provide patient education on health management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff in a medical office or urgent care setting.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record system, ensuring proper coding for billing purposes.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in psychopharmacology and other relevant fields.
Skills
- Proficient in lifting patients safely and effectively when required.
- Strong skills in IV insertion techniques and managing intravenous therapy.
- Ability to perform inhalation therapy as needed for respiratory conditions.
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and their interpretation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment or urgent care facility.
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and results interpretation related to patient care.
