• Position Summary

To perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, while maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.

• Position Responsibilities
• Assists residents with activities associated with daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, collecting specimens, applying dressings, walking and / or other exercise routines, and repositioning bedridden individuals, alone or with assistance.
• Assures physical comfort and mental well-being of all residents.
• Prepares residents for meals and snacks and assists with distributing food trays.
• Feeds residents based on need and disability.
• Observes residents' conditions and documents and reports changes.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
• Education :
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification :
• Current Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Experience :
• Prior long term care or geriatric experience is helpful.
