CLAIMS ADJUSTER/EXAMINER
Responsible for examining & approving property/casualty claims while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Process property/casualty claims following the guidelines of the insurance policy.
- Analyze and evaluate liability, settlement values, & coverages.
- Establish and adjust reserves adequately based on claim & coverages.
- Check and approve independent adjuster’s bills and other claim related expense.
- Review investigations, related forms, and reports to make final determinations.
- Review claim for subrogation possibilities,
- Provide exceptional customer service to agents, insured’s, independent adjusters and attorneys.
- Attend depositions, pre-trial conferences and trials as circumstances require.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- 5 years NY Property/Casualty insurance experience
- Property Claim experience is preferred

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
