The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking a Product Application Engineer based out of the Franklin, TN corporate office. This role will be responsible using market data and analytics to develop a portfolio vision and product strategy for new products within the Agricultural and Construction side of the business to increase sales, reach new customers, and increase sales opportunities.
The successful candidate in this role will be an excellent communicator, well organized, and have advanced product-marketing skills, and experience in the rubber or tire industries, including a knowledge of the scientific principles behind successful tire manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, addressing product-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Conducts product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product features and benefits to potential customers.
- Develops and delivers training programs for customers to ensure proper use and understanding of products.
- Collaborates with customers to develop and optimize applications using the company's products
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify product improvements and new feature opportunities.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, including user manuals, application notes, and FAQs.
- Works closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Assists in product testing and validation to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Identifies and resolves technical issues related to product applications in a timely manner.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, or related technical fields is required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in Product Engineering in AG or Construction or Industrial OEM equipment or deep understanding of Specialty tire, wheel or track business
- 5 years of experience in Agricultural, Construction, and Industrial specialty tire and wheels strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills are required.
