Position Hours: 1st Shift (7 AM - 5 PM) Monday-Friday
The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Supervisor I for their McDonough, GA facility. This position oversees the inventory and staff within the warehouse. This role involves coordinating a team that receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and supplies. It requires a thorough understanding of the relevant policies, procedures, and practices, as well as leading and directing the work of other employees.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assists the DC Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
- Schedules and oversees shipping, inventory, auditors, and maintenance staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Schedules, manages, and invoices maintenance repairs in the building.
- Completes specified reports at the assigned frequency.
- Manages physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
- Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Purchases supplies for the site when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. A College Degree in Business Management or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 3 Years of Experience in Warehousing, Distribution, or Logistics required. 1 Year in Leadership strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and organizational skills, and mid-level project management skills required.
- Exceptional leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, and standard math skills required.
- Ability to regularly lift 20 pounds required.
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time is required.
