Position Summary:

This role in the Executive Office will play a critical role in supporting key initiatives across two primary areas: bank relationship management and firm-wide operational strategy. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership, driving strategic projects, and delivering actionable insights to enhance efficiency, performance, and collaboration across the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Management: Manage key bank relationships by identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration, value creation, and enhanced engagement.
  • Project Management: Lead or assist in cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes, improve organizational efficiency, and enhance relationships with banking partners.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data, including transaction flows, performance metrics, and operational insights, to inform strategic decisions and support executive leadership. Collaborate with business and GTS leadership to source and optimize critical firm data.
  • Presentation Development: Prepare presentations, talking points, and other materials for meetings with banking partners, senior stakeholders, and leadership teams.
  • Budgeting and Reforecasting: Partner with Finance to manage budgeting and reforecasting processes, delivering high-quality executive analyses to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and accountability.
  • Operational Optimization: Identify and address operational inefficiencies, implementing process improvements to drive better outcomes across the organization.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborate on the development, execution, and tracking of Carlyle's operational strategy, ensuring alignment with firmwide goals.
  • Special Projects: Provide support for ad hoc initiatives related to banking operations, relationship management, or broader firmwide objectives.


Requirements:

Education & Certificates

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Professional Experience

  • 5 years of experience in strategic project management, operations, financial analysis, or relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the financial services or asset management industry is highly desirable.

Benefits/Compensation:

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.


The anticipated base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000.


In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
