What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver (Full Time - AM Shift) position at The Carnelian?

Shift Schedule: 7:00am to 7:00pm
Workdays Option 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Tuesday/Wednesday Off) or
Workdays Option 2: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Thursday/Friday Off)
We are seeking experienced individuals who can provide supportive care and assistance to our aging residents. If you are this individual with at least 1 year of experience in the field and wants to work with a team that recognizes the importance of your role, then we encourage you to join our team today.
What you need to know:
As a Caregiver or Resident Assistant,
(1) You will support our residents by providing supervision and assistance with their personal needs.
(2) You will assist in meeting their social needs by interacting with them and encouraging and reminding them of the community’s daily planned activities.
(3) You will note any changes in their physical and mental conditions and inform the Resident Care Coordinator of the changes.
(4) You will provide input to the Resident Care Coordinator to ensure residents’ individual care and service plans are being met and accurate.
(5) You will also maintain general upkeep of resident’s room and community common areas.
(7) This position demands good physical and mental health. You will be required to lift, carry, walk, stay up for long periods, sit, push, pull, turn, bend and must be able to continuously move during work hours. You must be comfortable working a 10-hour shift and able to carry weight up to 50lbs, when necessary.
