St. Joseph Hospice is seeking a Full-Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our team in Lafayette, LA area. We want you to become part of our center of excellence as we provide hospice care to our patients and their loved ones. We consider it an honor to walk with patients and families through this part of life's journey.
The Hospice Aide (CNA) is responsible for providing the patient with personal care in an inpatient care unit as assigned within the guidelines established by both state and federal regulations. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers regarding patients' needs and care or concerns. Promotes positive relations with the families and patients as well as facility staff.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
- Successful completion of a formal certification training program or a written skills test and competency evaluation
- Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting
- CPR Certified
- Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license, and auto insurance
