Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various installation tasks and possess a strong understanding of construction sites and restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair carpets in residential and commercial settings
- Perform carpet stretching, cutting, and fitting according to specifications
- Utilize tools such as knee kickers, carpet shears, and power stretchers for installation
- Ensure carpets are properly secured and finished with appropriate edging
- Collaborate with clients to understand their carpet installation needs
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after installation projects
Qualifications
- Must have own transportation (most jobs are in Jackson County).
-Must have own tools
-Previous experience as a Carpet Installer or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints for accurate carpet installations
- Knowledge of various flooring materials and their applications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with construction sites and restoration industry practices
- Skills in maintenance person tasks, fixture installation, cabinet installation, drywall work, and carpentry are advantageous
