Job Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team! As our Inventory Control Clerk, you will maintain a running list of all inventory, supplies, and equipment. You will order all inventory stock as needed. You will also be conducting physical audits as necessary. You will account for damaged, mis-ordered, and returned inventory. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is organized, responsible and has great communication skills. You will need to perform clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers and helping customer's.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a living, accurate list of all inventory locations and amounts
- Conduct physical stock checks as needed
- Review and adjust existing policies on inventory management, or create new policies based on best practices
- Perform clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers, filing and helping customers
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
- Monitor all inventory transactions and ensure all pricing is accurate
- Negotiate vendor contracts to maximize profit and verifying invoice pricing
