What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Colleague position at The Carriage House?
The Carriage House, recognized as a leader by Clubhouse International, is an Accredited Clubhouse Program. We are seeking a dedicated, fun and energetic person to join our community. We provide non-traditional psycho-social rehabilitation for adults with serious mental illnesses in a unique day program.
Job duties include:
- Engage clubhouse members in daily work activities to build self-esteem and social skills.
- Assist members to achieve vocational goals through vibrant employment and education programs.
- Advocate for members to access and improve housing, healthcare, and other community services.
- Facilitate social recreational activities.
Minimum job qualification require associate’s degree (preferred bachelor's degree). Seeking applicants with experience in advocacy, the humanities, sociology, communication, social work, mental health or other alternative backgrounds.
