Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for everything from assembling orders to loading trucks, while also maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in shipping and receiving: unloading trucks, checking in merchandise
- Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipment (palletizing, boxing)
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner during deliveries and pickups
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards
- Label and identify materials accurately
- Weigh and count items for distribution
- Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents
- Prepare and verify shipping and receiving paperwork
- Learn to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Forklift experience or certification (preferred)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
