We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and play a critical role in shaping our financial future. This role requires a leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, collaborating closely with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure our financial systems support and drive business success.
What You’ll Do
As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring financial health, transparency, and efficiency across the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in financial planning, process optimization, and operational collaboration.
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Provide leadership with real-time financial insights to drive business decisions and improve profitability.
- Develop and implement strong financial controls and best practices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Operational Collaboration & Business Partnership
- Work closely with operations, HR, and leadership teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Support operational teams in tracking profitability, managing costs, and improving efficiency across service lines.
- Bridge the gap between finance and other departments, making financial data clear, relevant, and actionable for decision-makers.
Process Optimization & Compliance
- Enhance financial systems, reporting structures, and processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial risk mitigation to support sustainable growth.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls, and lead external audits when necessary.
Leadership & Team Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach, helping scale financial operations as the company continues to grow.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, driving long-term financial planning and strategy.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 7 years in finance/accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Controller, Director of Finance, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in service-based industries (security, staffing, or professional services) is a plus.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required), ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership to drive business success.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong financial acumen with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process improvement.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $140,000 – $170,000
- Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary, tied to financial and operational KPIs
