Type: Full-Time; May be required to work a flexible schedule with some overnight travel
Hiring Range: $57,000 - $74,000 annually (commensurate with directly applicable experience)
Commitment: Three-Year Commitment to The Cason Group
Our Group Benefits Division provides support to benefit advisors through product selection and management, benefits administration implementation, and benefits education services. As the Manager of Strategic Marketing, you will lead and enhance the Division of Group Benefits strategic marketing and client engagement efforts to elevate brand awareness, increase partnership visibility, and promote our value proposition.
What Our Manager of Strategic Marketing Does:
- Develop and Manage: work closely with Division and Sales Leaders to develop and implement marketing plans that support the fulfillment of division-specific strategic objectives and sales/revenue goals; manage marketing efforts utilizing a variety of strategies targeted/mass communication, focus groups, road shows, webinars, TCG collateral, entertainment, special events, podcast, etc.; create and implement a plan to measure effectiveness of initiatives; develop and deliver measurable results within agreed-upon timelines; coordinate the design and publication of the Group Benefits divisions internal and external communications; design communication materials
- Collaborate and Communicate: engage with the Group Benefits leadership team in strategic planning and promotion of The Cason Group culture and values; collaborate with sales leadership to identify market trends and target audiences; engage with audiences to communicate our story and value proposition; maintain clear and consistent communication with the Group Sr. Leadership team
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry (direct experience in group benefits and marketing is highly desirable)
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Must have a strong desire and ability to take initiative and drive results
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties with a high attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills as well as the ability to work well with others to secure their support and cooperation
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and experienced with creative design technologies; familiarity with database systems is desired
