Job Title: Group Sales Support Account Executive

Type: Full-Time; may be eligible for hybrid work schedule at completion of training
Hiring Salary: $46,500 - $53,000 annual salary and is commensurate with direct industry experience

Our Group Sales Support team works closely with Sales Representatives, broker partners, and carrier contacts to help ensure a smooth and effective experience with excellent service through the group sales process. As an Account Executive, you will work in coordination with designated Sales Reps to gather quotes on all size groups, provide spreadsheet comparisons on key accounts, and consult on group products and TCG services with our broker and carrier partners to help provide an excellent sales experience.
What Our Account Executives Do:
- Consult and Collaborate: provide front line support for agent and carrier questions; consult and make informed recommendations to advisors on group coverage options; collaborate with Sales Reps throughout the pre-sale process; update Sales Reps on agents quote activity, potential sales opportunities, and any issues that arise
- Coordinate and Communicate: receive quote requests from Sales Reps or agents and prepare appropriate information for carriers; accurately and efficiently answer broker questions; follow up on outstanding quote requests and keep broker informed
- Synchronize Databases: utilize Monday.com, OneNote, and Salesforce to track workflow and maintain accurate, up-to-date information; produce updated spreadsheets for key agents and accounts
- Stay Current in Industry: maintain knowledge of products; carriers; quoting requirements; group insurance underwriting and laws; commissions, licensing and appointment procedures; and Sales Reps guidelines for agent interaction; attend carrier seminars and trainings; participate in broker and group meetings with Sales Rep
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties with a high attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Competency in Microsoft Office products along with a knowledge of database systems
- Demonstrated proficiency of all parts of the position within four to six months
