Busy, full service corporate catering company looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-oriented event coordinator.
Job Responsibilities
1. Answering incoming phone calls from customers and vendors
2. Planning and coordinating events for corporate customers
3. Special menu and decoration creation
4. General office organizational duties
5. Occasional field work as workflow requires (e.g., purchasing specialty items for events)
Skills and Qualifications
1. Organization – ability to multi-task on several projects at once
2. Customer Service – excellent customer skills an absolute must
3. Leadership – ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
4. Communication – ability to clearly communicate production needs with the kitchen team
5. Computer Skills – knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
6. 2 years of event coordinator experience preferred
