Position Summary: The Escort Driver will safely lead all funeral processions from the cemetery entrance to the place of interment as directed by the Field Manager and or Foreman.
Compensation Data: Non-Exempt, Hourly: $15.00 - $18.00
Location: All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio
Travel: on Cemetery Property
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead funeral processions to the place of interment.
- Ensure all work is completed in adherence to safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field.
- Operate automobiles.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all cemetery roads and sections
- Be aware of all daily burial locations and times
- Ability to work Monday – Saturday on a flexible schedule
What you will need to succeed:
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid current driver’s license
- Clean driving history
Competencies:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work and operate in all elements of weather
Work Environment:
- Onsite
- Hours: Monday – Saturday, as needed, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm est.
